Overview

Chyameya S̺izu Gûbe was founded durring the late 15th century in winter of the year 1459, by H́ithi̊. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Chyameya S̺izu Gûbe was built using the conventions of Rattu durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Chyameya S̺izu Gûbe is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature plaster covered brick construction taking the shape of large simple gemometric shapes which ate then embelished with decorative features, but retain their simple shapes in spite of the added features such as pillars, faccaddes, and covered walkways. The blocky nature gives a general impression of extreem age, as if each structure has existed since time immemorial.

Chyameya S̺izu Gûbe is buildings are built arround a single premissive flagstone mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the city a over all circular shape. The city rests behind a thin stone wall. The wall's design was likly directly copied from a castle's parmiter defences. It's simply that the arcatect made Chyameya S̺izu Gûbe's wall substancialy thinner than a castle's walls. While the towers and gatehouses are adiquite, the obvious cost savings measure of making the walls drasticaly thinner reduces their ability to resist siege weapons greatly. The city's impressive-looking wall could fail at a critical moment in battle, and would likely not even resist a few bandits with improvised siege equipment. Chyameya S̺izu Gûbe's budget oriented are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the city as needed.

A look around Chyameya S̺izu Gûbe gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. A second look around Chyameya S̺izu Gûbe makes it abundantly clear the city suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Smiles are few, cheer is nowhere to be had.
